Born in Ferrara, in 1975. Researcher Icar 13 at the Faculty of Architecture of Ferrara.

Degree in architecture at the University of Architecture in Venice. Thesis in the ambit of design entitled: Progetto per l’Hotel Kaiserhof in Wilhelmplatz a Berlino, lecturer Prof. A.Romano Burelli.
Doctorate in research in Architectural Technology at Ferrara University’s Faculty of Architecture. Doctorate thesis entitled Pietre d’artificio. Materiali per l’architettura tra mimesi ed invenzione, written under the guidance of Prof. Alfonso Acocella. Path of research aimed at clarifying the constituent, applicative and expressive sense of modern man-made materials in the ambit of stone.
From 2004 to now, collaboration in research carried out by the architect Alfonso Acocella, Professor of Technology at the Faculty of Architecture of Ferrara, and in the teaching on the course on Technological Culture of Design.
Research carried out during the first year of the doctorate: Industrial Archaeology. Architecture of industrial production 1770-1960.
Participation in the cultural project L’architettura di pietra - marmi e pietre d’Italia (Stone architecture – stones and marbles of Italy), supported by the Fondazione della Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca and by Lucense Scpa, and in the inter-provincial territorial project “Pietre di Toscana” (Stones of Tuscany) promoted by the Regione Toscana in 2006.
Collaboration in the formulation and development of Architetturadipietra.it, digital communicative project of technical culture and of disciplinary debate on architectural themes, coordinated by Alfonso Acocella.
Editor for Costruire in laterizio (Building in brick), Andil-Assolaterizi’s magazine of architecture and technology for Faenza Editrice, publishing articles which examine the technicalities and culture of the modern project, and coordinating independent editorial projects (http://www.laterizio.it/).
Member of the editorial staff of the Museo dinamico dei laterizi e delle terrecotte di Marsciano (PG), in 2005 devises scientific material, effects iconographic research and a graphic project for the exhibition Rosso Italiano. Pavimentazioni in cotto dall’antico al contemporaneo (Italian Red. Terracotta floors from antiquity to the modern day) held in 2006 (http://www.supermuseolaterizio.it/), making numerous critical contributions to the exhibition catalogue (Alinea 2006).

Author of Pietre d'artificio. Materiali per l'architettura tra mimesi e invenzione (Lulu press, 2011) and Raffaello Galiotto. Design digitale e materialità litica (Librìa, collana Lithos, 2012).
