Marco Negri holds a Master in Architecture. He studied at ENSAP Bordeaux and the University of Ferrara, obtaining in 2013 his diploma with the thesis “Bordeaux 2030 – Rethinking the suburbs” (authors Marco and Fabio Negri, supervisor prof. Gabriele Lelli, assistant supervisor prof. Susanna Pasquali, final grade 110/110 cum laude).

During his academic career he worked with several architecture practice both in Italy and in Europe. He received from his alma mater the “School of Architecture” award for an outstanding academic record and a strong international focus.

He’s interested in the new developments of contemporary cities, both in social and in aesthetical terms.

From 2013 he works in OUR lab – Other Urban Resources lab, a collective of architects involved in low-cost and creative urban strategies. With OUR lab he promotes the use of alternative resources in urban planning and he participates to several conferences and workshops on innovative design methods. From 2014 he tutors at the Architectural Design Studio 4 at the University of Ferrara, focused on retail areas and urban regeneration.
